ELISAThe aims of the ELISA project are (a) to develop and evaluate a methodological
solution for the design and use of a pedagogically relevant corpus, and (b) to
apply this method to the creation and exploitation of a small audiovisual corpus
of spoken English (ELISA). The corpus is intended as a resource for the creation
of learning materials as well as for autonomous exploitation by learners. The
project was funded by a research grant from the University of Tübingen. SACODEYLSACODEYL is an EU MINERVA project that aims to develop an ICT-based system
for the assisted compilation and open distribution of European teen talk in the
context of language education. This scheme encompasses two groups: youngsters
between 13 and 15, and those between 16 and 18. The project encompasses the
collection and distribution of English, French, German, Italian,
Lithuanian, Romanian, and Spanish teen talk. The project is co-ordinated by the
University of Murcia, Spain.
